1. General Integration Terms
HeyTwin offers optional integrations with various third-party services (e.g., Spotify, Steam, LastFM). By connecting these services, you acknowledge that:
- We only access data explicitly authorized by the permissions scope you grant during login.
- We do not write data to these services (e.g., we will not follow users or create playlists) unless explicitly requested by a feature you interact with.
- We are not responsible for the uptime or availability of these third-party APIs.
2. Data Display & Storage
Data fetched from these integrations (such as "Now Playing" on Spotify or "Steam Level") is used solely to enhance your profile display.
- Ephemeral Data: Real-time data like "current song" is not stored permanently in our database; it is fetched live or cached briefly for performance.
- Public Availability: By linking a service, you agree that information fetched from that service (within the scope of the integration) will be made public on your HeyTwin profile.
3. Disconnecting Services
You may disconnect any integration at any time via your Profile Settings. Upon disconnection, we will cease fetching data from that provider, and the associated widgets will be removed from your profile immediately.
